As we dive into the year ahead, I wanted to take a moment to share some updates and explain my recent hiatus. I have spent the better part of the year working on a new pattern I designed for Northcott Fabrics. When it was accepted I needed to write the pattern. Even though it's not difficult to sew, I needed to make sure the instructions were clear. In addition, I started a new full-time job. Between the pattern writing/sample making and the new job - it took all my time. Now I am able to return to my blog and my business.
This pause was also about returning to my creative roots. I realized that sometimes, slowing down is the best way to move forward. It was a chance for me to refine ideas, dream big, grow creatively and bring fresh energy into the projects I love! (And I think you will love them too!)

LOOKING AHEAD
Looking forward to 2025 - it is filled with exciting new designs and opportunities. The new pattern that is being released today is called Chain Links. It is inspired by my love of batiks, colors and geometric design. Designed for Northcott Fabrics I was able to create a fun and accurate pattern to sew. This is the quilt that is featured in the top photo. It was fun to create and write. I'm working on a tutorial for anyone who has not done Foundation Paper Piecing before.
The hiatus also gave me the time to develop another pattern. I've been sewing, writing and testing designs that I'm thrilled to share with you in the coming months. The pattern-in-progress is a fun quilt made for quilters of all skill levels. As soon as it's ready I will send out a post with pictures. I can't wait for you to see what's in store!
THANK YOU

Your support, encouragement and creativity inspire me every day. I have some exciting things planned for the year coming up. Please do me the honor and let your friends, quilt friends and guilds know about this site to grow this group of wonderful quilters of all levels. I encourage you to email me and ask questions!

With love and gratitude,
